The importance of formation evaluationto understand each reservoir uniquecharacteristics andmaximize ever well potential in terms of production and durability; AlMansoori Wireline Services offers to our clients a wide range of solutions under these measures.For open hole evaluation our state of the art Logging While Tripping (LWT) technology providesformation evaluation data for client’s reservoirs while tripping out of the well after drilling is completed.Another solutionin cased hole wells we are offering our Reservoir Analysis Sonde (RAS) which is utilized at development stages when a well is either producing / injecting or not active; this could be used as a base log or time lapse monitoring for evaluation to helpplan for the well cycle or plan for remedial work.

Our conventional Production Logging Tools provides high resolution data on every instrument. Evaluating the behavior, and type, of fluids within the wellbore and outside the pipe. Usually used but not limited to vertical wells, these combinations of tools help our clients to determine flow profile, inflow, flowing pressure, crossflow, etc. These production profiling measures are done via the leading technologies in the Industry; where we partner and acquire tools from International Technology manufacturers.

The Multiple Array Production Suite (MAPS) instruments give the interpreter adequate and accurate data regarding fluid segregation, different fluid density velocity,Hold up fluid measurements of oil, gas, and water, multiphase profiling of fluid flow, and more.

Spectral Noise Tool is a tool designed for well monitoring and evaluation with a phenomenal depth of investigation which goes from the tool surrounding up to the matrix deep in the reservoir. Based on the principle of sound generation by turbulent flow, SNL can record noises in a wide range of sonic-ultrasonic scale up to 60KHz.

Water Flow Log is a well monitoring tool with the sole purpose of detect water movement behind the casing. Based on the principle of Oxygen Activation thru neutrons burst. Ideally, thePulsed Neutron logging tool is used to determine channelings in the cement and undesirable water breakthrough.

Well Integrity

The mechanical life spam of a well is directly dependent on its component’s integrity, casing, tubing, packers, mandrels, completion ancillaries, etc. Internal and external corrosion, thickness, leaks, multiple string corrosion, metal loss, cement integrity, visualization of obstruction, etc. are some characteristics that need to be monitored on timely basis in order to predict and/or monitor the advance of any type of degradation or malfunction. In AlMansoori we provide to our customers single logging instruments or a combination of these to maximize and achieve results fit for purpose by offering solutions to the problematic wells and well integrity challenges faced by our clients.
Is one of the logging techniques present in the oil industry for decades, Cement Bond Logs are widely used in new wells and existing wells in order to evaluate cement integrity, hydraulic seal, presence of cement for sidetracking, etc.
  • CBL/VDL

    One of the most common and effective method of Cement Evaluation based in the principle of measuring sonic signal attenuation and sonic pulse travel time.

  • Segmented Cement Bond Tool (SCBT)

    In combination with CBL/VDL, a Segmented Cement Bond tool added to the equation a 360 deg view for evaluation of presence and quality of cement behind the casing divided in 8 sectors and 12 sectors.

  • Ultrasonic Bond Tool (USI)

    More modern technique of Cement Evaluation is the incorporation of Ultrasonic transmitter in order to measure the Acoustic Impedance of the cement behind the casing. With a larger resolution of 100 shots per revolution is a perfect tool when Cement Evaluation is critical, usually used for lighter weight of cement and foam cement.

Pipe Recovery

AlMansoori Wireline Services offers Well Intervention solutions that will help operator companies solve unforeseen problems in wells during drilling operations, clean and remove debris from completion, conduct remediation to rejuvenate production, and if needed carry out safe and effective plug and abandonment for the wells that are at the end of their economic life. The use of our non-explosive technologies benefits in saving significant time and associated resources whilst it is in compliance with the safety regulations, which allows ease of logistics. Using the latest technology of Non-explosive pipecutters, motorized anchor free point indicators and more.
The double anchor motorized system makes the operation easier and faster in order to determine the stuck point. Sensitive to tension, compression and torque comparing every measurement to apreset free pipe calibration.

We have partnered with MCR Oil Tools to offer to our clients the Radial Cutting Torch (RCT). AlMansoori license agreement with MCR covers territory continent of Asia, we are one of the few companies who are licensed with MCR in the region. MCR’s Radial Cutting Torch tool is the safest and most efficient pipe cutting device available in the industry. Based on patented cutting technology, MCR’s Radial Cutting Torch tool is used to sever tubing, casing, drill pipe, and coiled tubing without the use of explosives or hazardous materials, making it one of the safest pipe cutting tools in the market.

Similar to the RCT, the Perforating Torch Cutter (PTC) is an MCR product; non-explosive and radio safe, operates via plasma technology.

When there is a need to use a last resource of recovery Explosive Severing Tool will do the work. Available in sizes from 1 3/8” up to 2 3/8” for drill pipe as large as 9”.

Perforation and Well Intervention

AlMansoori provides a full range of Perforating Guns, Charges,simulation software and ultimate technology when it comes to Tubing Conveyed Perforating. Furthermore, we do promote the usage of non-explosive services when possible as our Non-explosive setting tool, non-explosives cement bailers, non-explosive tubing cutter/punch.
A wide variety of perforating systems as Retrievable Tubing Guns, Exposed Gun System, Capsule Guns 0 phase, Stim Guns, Stim Tubes, at different levels of charges penetration from deep to ultra-deep, and more.

Latest equipment and technique for Tubing Conveyed Perforating for existing wells with open perforations and firing while the well is underbalance.

For those areas when is impossible to isolate all the potential residual voltage sources then engineering systems is created as an effective safety barrier, in this case Safety Radio Frequency Detonators is an engineering solution for such cases.

AlMansoori technology for Plug Setting and Zonal Isolationis an electro-mechanical setting tool; only 4 ft long and capable of pulling (or pushing) up to 90,000 lbs. this Setting tool is a non-explosive, contains no hydraulics or dangerous goods of any kind, can be run in memory mode or real time mode and is the perfect fit for your slickline, electric line, coiled tubing and electrical slickline plug setting operations.

In sizes of 1 11/16” and 2 1/8” for thru tubing operation, bridging material and cement can be dumping using non-explosives bailers.
